Fenty Beauty x Rihanna


Rihanna launched her makeup line, Fenty Beauty just two days ago and of course it's already a hit. Already being reviewed by some of the biggest beauty bloggers and creating controversy on twitter. Fenty Beauty is beauty for all as Rihanna created 40 shades, making sure no skin tone was left out.

"I want women all over the world to feel great. We are women and we have challenges and we deserve to feel beautiful. I want women of all shades, colors and races to be apart of this," Rihanna told reporters at her launch.

Rihanna shared with reporters that she has been working on this line for a little over two years and it was important for her to be involved in every aspect as she never wants to sale something she doesn't believe in. It's available to buy on her website and exclusively at Sephora.

I had to be apart of the movement, so I stopped by Sephora and browsed her section. I ended up buying foundation and lip gloss. I matched shade 310, but ended up buying 320 because I didn't like the red undertone of 310 and I wanted a more natural look. I also bought her BOMB ASS lip gloss. I love it, I love it and I love it.

Her lip gloss is sent from heaven. It's not sticky and doesn't leave white residue after wearing it for a long period of time, as most lip gloss does. Her foundation is medium to full coverage, but everyone is different about how they want it to look. It is very light weight and dries quickly. My best advice would be to apply it with a beauty blender. It looks good after applying, but I did apply powder foundation on top of it.

I think her line is great. The only thing I want her to do is add more lip products because we only have the gloss, which is PERFECT! She also has primer, highlighter, brushes and a conceal + contour product. I'm excited for her line and I'm just ready to see how its grows and expands over time.
